2024 Jeep Wrangler Engine Power Problems

Those who own or lease a 2024 Jeep Wrangler and are experiencing recurring engine power issues are far from alone. In recent months, reports of sudden engine power loss and stalling engines have arisen from concerned drivers who are calling on the automaker to acknowledge these worrisome safety issues. So far, the manufacturer has only launched one auto safety recall campaign that covers this make and model, but it does not involve any engine-related issues or defects. For now, Jeep customers affected by engine power problems must wait for clear explanations and lasting solutions to these recurring and concerning issues.

One owner of a 2024 Jeep Wrangler reported that they were driving along a busy roadway when the vehicle suddenly decelerated from 50 miles per hour to 5 miles per hour very quickly. Fortunately, the driver was able to respond quickly enough to steer the vehicle to the side of the road, narrowly avoiding a collision with another car. Another driver stated that his wife was driving down the highway when the vehicle started to “buck” and nearly stalled out in the middle lane. When the driver took the vehicle in for an inspection, the dealer could not identify the issue and recommended a software update. However, the software update was not available, leaving the customer without a clear and safe path forward. For now, many Jeep customers are in the same uncertain position as they wait for the manufacturer to address these issues and provide effective remedies.
