2024 Honda CR-V Recurring Steering System Problems

If you own or lease a 2024 Honda CR-V SUV, you should know that a slew of complaints have arisen from other customers. While the nature of the complaints varies, the majority of these safety concerns apply to recurring steering system problems that continue to elude permanent solutions or repairs. There are currently no auto safety recall campaigns impacting this make and model, so customers struggling with steering issues are left in the dark without clear guidance or answers about how they can obtain the necessary repairs for them to feel safe behind the wheel once more.

According to the owner of a 2024 Honda CR-V, the steering system started to feel “sticky” when the vehicle traveled over 40 miles per hour. Suddenly, it felt as if the steering would click and fail to respond to the driver’s attempts to keep the vehicle moving straight forward—forcing the driver to overcorrect constantly to avoid drifting sharply to the right or left. Other drivers of this make, and model have lodged similar complaints about steering systems that fail to respond properly, or that compel the driver to work hard to avoid drifting and colliding with other vehicles on the road. Until the manufacturer acknowledges these concerns, many Honda customers continue to struggle with these concerning and frustrating steering malfunctions.
