2022 Polestar Polestar 2 Persistent Electrical System Failures

If you own or lease a 2022 Polestar Polestar 2, you should know that several customers have lodged complaints of persistent electrical system malfunctions in recent months. Several drivers have reported connectivity issues that appear for no apparent reason, rendering maps and other navigation apps useless while the vehicle is in motion. So far, the manufacturer has issued one auto safety recall campaign impacting this make and model, but it concerns an issue that can cause loss of drive power, not electrical system failures. Until the automaker addresses these electrical system defects, affected customers are left without the clear answers and lasting solutions they crave.

One owner of a 2022 Polestar Polestar 2 stated that his vehicle’s network connectivity has malfunctioned on several occasions, preventing him from using navigation tools while driving. Even after he had his vehicle’s software updated as recommended by the manufacturer, these issues persist with no clear explanation. Other drivers have lodged complaints about their inability to use the virtual key feature and other connectivity problems that prevent them from using the SOS feature. For now, the manufacturer has yet to acknowledge or address these electrical system failures.
