2022 Honda Passport SUV Braking System Malfunctions

Those who own or lease a 2022 Honda Passport SUV should know that numerous safety concerns have been reported in recent months by Honda customers. The majority of these complaints pertain to worrisome and recurring braking issues that appear resistant to any attempt to fix the underlying problems. Reports of brakes emitting loud, concerning noises while engaged and concerns about brake pedals that fail to respond when depressed continue to arise, with many customers expressing their hesitancy to drive their vehicles because of these safety issues. Although the manufacturer has issued three distinct safety recall campaigns affecting this make and model, many customers report that they continue to experience braking system issues even after obtaining the recommended repairs.

According to the driver of a 2022 Honda Passport SUV, their vehicle’s brakes started emitting abnormal and concerning squealing sounds for no identifiable reason. The customer had to take the SUV to the dealer more than once to resolve this issue. Another owner of this make and model reported that their brake pedal failed to engage (and fell to the floor when depressed) on more than one occasion, nearly causing a collision. Several similar reports continue to arise from concerned Honda customers awaiting clear and permanent solutions to these issues.
