2022 Chrysler Pacifica MV Recurring Engine Malfunctions

Over the last few months, several reports of malfunctioning engines and recurring engine issues have been lodged by those who own or lease a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica MV. Their concerns include engines that suddenly lose power while the vehicle is in motion and engines that slow considerably (and dangerously) without warning and for no apparent reason. The manufacturer has issued three distinct safety recall campaigns, one of which involves the increased potential of an electrical short causing engine failure. However, some customers continue to experience troublesome engine issues after obtaining the recommended recall repairs.

After one owner of the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica MV took their vehicle to the dealer for the recommended engine recall repair, the vehicle continued to experience repeated instances of engine failure. On one particularly harrowing drive, the vehicle was traveling at approximately 70 miles per hour when the engine went into “limp mode” and started to coast. Fortunately, the driver was able to drift to the side of the road, narrowly avoiding a collision. Many other worried drivers are calling on Chrysler to acknowledge their safety concerns and provide lasting solutions to these recurring engine system issues.
