2021 Nissan Sentra Steering Issues

Those who own or lease a 2021 Nissan Sentra should be aware of several recent complaints from Nissan customers regarding recurring steering system issues in this make and model. Reports of loud noises emanating from the steering wheel and of unresponsive steering columns continue to arise. Some customers have reported that their steering wheel will seize up suddenly and without warning, even causing a collision in some cases. Although a recent safety recall addressed bent tie rods in these vehicles that could cause a loss of steering control, many customers continue to struggle with inexplicable steering system issues.

The driver of a 2021 Nissan Sentra stated that their steering completely failed while the driver was attempting to merge into traffic. The driver was unable to steer the vehicle to safety, resulting in a collision with another vehicle. Another driver shared a similar experience in which the vehicle lost power steering functionality and the steering wheel seized up, resulting in a collision. Many Nissan customers are calling on the manufacturer to acknowledge these issues and provide lasting solutions to these recurring safety problems.
