2020 Nissan Pathfinder SUV Recurring Engine Failures

Those who own or lease a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder SUV should recognize that a slew of customer complaints have been lodged within the last few years. The bulk of these concerns pertain to persistent engine issues, many of which have not been diagnosed nor repaired. So far, the manufacturer has yet to issue a single auto safety recall impacting this make and model, leaving consumers without the clear answers and permanent fixes they need to feel safe on the road once again.

One owner of a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder SUV stated that his vehicle experienced an engine failure while driving. He was traveling at a speed of 50 miles per hour when the vehicle lost engine power, forcing the driver to steer the SUV to the side of the road and out of harm’s way. This same owner also stated that the vehicle consumes and excessive amount of oil, but multiple trips to the dealership have not yielded any information or answers. Reports of engine failures and of engines that emit loud, concerning noises continue to arise from anxious NIssan drivers. For now, they are left waiting for the manufacturer to address—or simply acknowledge—their safety concerns.
