2020 Audi Q8 SUV Steering System Defects

In recent months, multiple reports of steering system malfunctions have arisen from those who own or lease a 2020 Audi Q8 SUV. To date, the manufacturer has launched two safety recalls impacting this make and model. One campaign concerns a defective fuel pump, while the other concerns a transmission oil pipe that is more prone to leaking. However, neither of these recalls pertain to steering system issues, leaving many Audi customers without the lasting solutions they need to feel safe behind the wheel once more.

According to the owner of a 2020 Audi Q8 SUV, they were driving at approximately 20 miles per hour when the steering wheel suddenly pulled to the right, causing the driver to lose control of the SUV and collide with the curb. After the crash, the vehicle was undriveable and had to be towed to the dealership. An investigation was unable to identify the source of the issue. Many other Audi drivers lodged similar complaints about steering systems that would pull hard in one direction or seize up entirely while the car was in motion. For now, most of these affected customers remain in the dark, lacking the answers and information they need to obtain a lasting repair.
