2020-2021 Chevrolet Colorado Braking System Failures

Chevrolet customers are voicing their concerns over the safety of the 2020 and 2021 Chevrolet Colorado vehicles. Many of these complaints pertain to braking system malfunctions, including squealing or clunking brakes, unresponsive brakes, and other similar issues. Currently, the manufacturer has yet to issue a safety recall affecting these vehicles, leaving customers without clear answers or solutions to these persistent problems.

Several people who drive a 2020 or 2021 Chevrolet Colorado have reported experiencing recurring braking issues. Many reports of brakes that grind or emit a loud squealing noise have emerged in recent months. However, the dealer has not been able to diagnose or identify the source of these issues for many customers. In one severe incident, the driver of a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado pressed the brake pedal, but the vehicle failed to respond. Smoke immediately began to fill the cabin of the vehicle, and the occupants quickly exited the vehicle while flames erupted underneath the vehicle. No official cause was determined, leaving the driver without satisfying answers.
