2019 Chevrolet Malibu Recurring Engine Issues

In recent years, numerous complaints about recurring engine and power failures in the 2019 Chevrolet Malibu have arisen from those who own or lease vehicles of this make and model. Reports of engines that fail to shut off after the Stop/Start button is depressed or that immediately and inexplicably lose power while in motion continue to arise by those concerned about the overall safety of these vehicles. To date, the manufacturer has only launched one official auto safety recall campaign, which deals with an improperly secured rear seat belt. Unfortunately, those customers who are struggling with recurring engine issues are left without the clear explanations and lasting solutions they want.

The owner of a 2019 Chevrolet Malibu stated that her daughter was driving at a speed of approximately 40 miles per hour. Suddenly, the vehicle lost all engine power. Fortunately, the driver was able to coast the vehicle to the side of the road in order to avoid a collision. An inspection at the dealership did not discover the underlying issue, and both the owner and her daughter remain hesitant to drive the vehicle because they worry the loss of engine power will happen again. Many other reports of engines that inexplicably lose power while in motion continue to arise from concerned Chevrolet customers in search of permanent fixes to these safety hazards.
