2018-2019 Toyota 4Runner SUV Steering Issues

In recent months, a number of customer complaints have emerged from those who own or lease a 2018-2019 Toyota 4Runner SUV. Although the complaints pertain to several issues, a significant portion of them detail persistent problems with the steering system. From wobbly and shaky steering columns to steering systems that veer hazardously to the left or right, Toyota customers are concerned about their safety.

One owner of the 2018 Toyota 4Runner SUV described an alarming situation in which he was driving down a hill at 35 miles per hour, when the vehicle began to lose control—as if the steering wheel had little effect on the wheels. Another driver stated that they have to constantly compensate their steering while on the highway, as the vehicle drifts dramatically to the left. So far, many Toyota customers have not received clear answers or lasting solutions from the manufacturer.
