A wide array of electrical problems are being reported by those who own or lease a 2017 Ford Mustang. While some issues are relatively minor, many are quite significant, such as vehicles that completely turn off or shut down while in motion. Many drivers are still looking for answers, as Ford has yet to issue a recall that addresses the electrical failures.
A few drivers have reported a few faulty electrical issues that, while frustrating and persistent, are not immediate threats to driver or passenger safety. According to one 2017 Ford Mustang owner from North Carolina, the vehicle’s window on the driver’s side randomly moves up and down approximately one-half inch while the car is in motion or parked. Shortly after this issue arose, the driver started having issues with the locks on the driver’s side door. Another owner reported that their vehicle’s rear view camera stopped working, and several attempts have been made to repair it. More alarmingly, several drivers have reported that their vehicles suddenly shut off while traveling along at high speeds, causing them to have to swerve and pull to safety on the side of the road.
