2017 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 Intermittent Braking System Failures

If you own or lease a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban 1500, you should know that numerous complaints about recurring braking system issues have been lodged in recent years from concerned Chevrolet customers. These complains pertain to brakes that fail to respond when depressed to a malfunctioning anti lock braking system that prevents the driver from pressing the brakes properly when necessary. So far, the auto manufacturer has issued a total of four distinct safety recall campaigns impacting this make and model. Although one of these recalls addresses a defective vacuum pump that may decrease the power brake assist, many customers have continued to struggle with other unsolvable braking system problems without clear and lasting solutions.

The driver of a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 stated that their vehicle’s brakes have experienced intermittent issues. On one occasion, the driver pressed down on the brake pedal but the vehicle failed to slow, causing the car to almost collide with the wall of a parking garage. So far, the owner has taken the vehicle to the dealership on three separate occasions for a complete braking system inspection. However, no underlying issues or defects have been identified. Several other drivers of the 2017 Chevrolet Suburban have voiced similar concerns as they await clear answers and lasting solutions from the manufacturer.
