2017-2018 Mazda Mazda6 Concerning Electrical System Issues

Within the last few years, a slew of customer concerns regarding electrical system failures has arisen from those who own or lease a 2017-2018 Mazda Mazda6 vehicle. These reports range from vehicles that fail to turn on properly to electrical systems that misfire at concerning times, like having the radio suddenly leap to full volume while the car is in motion. Other Mazda drivers have reported recurring issues with their cell phones connecting to the car’s system, among many other troublesome issues. To date, the manufacturer has issued one auto safety recall campaign, but it does not concern electrical system defects. Until the automaker acknowledged these safety concerns, many customers are left without the lasting fixes they are looking for.

The driver of a 2018 Mazda Mazda6 stated that their radio volume has blasted to the maximum volume while the car is in motion. This alarming event happens without warning and without the driver or passengers touching the system in any way. Other drivers have reported electrical system alarms that fail to engage when necessary or that illuminate for no underlying reason. Multiple trips to the dealership have not yielded any clear answers, causing frustration among many Mazda customers.
