2024 Chevrolet Trax SUV Engine Malfunction

In recent months, a high volume of customer complaints have arisen regarding recurring engine problems in the 2024 Chevrolet Trax SUV make and model. Chevrolet customers have reported worrisome noises coming from the engine compartment while the vehicle is in motion as well as incidents of a total loss of engine power for no apparent reason. So far, the manufacturer has only announced one auto safety recall campaign for these vehicles, and it pertains to a blank instrument panel display. For now, customers struggling with concerning engine issues continue to wait for the manufacturer to acknowledge these problems and provide lasting fixes.

The driver of a 2024 Chevrolet Trax SUV stated that they were driving along the highway at approximately 60 miles per hour and the engine started to make loud noises. When the owner took the vehicle to the dealership, they found that the engine had a large hole on the side that had no clear origin or cause. Other drivers shared incidents in which their 2024 Chevrolet Trax SUV experienced inexplicable engine failure while in motion, causing these vehicles to lose power and jeopardize the safety of the vehicle occupants and others on the road. Another owner reported that their vehicle began to emanate smoke from the engine compartment while traveling at a speed of 45 miles per hour. After steering the SUV to the side of the road, the engine caught fire. Similar reports of harrowing and worrisome engine defects continue to arise from Chevrolet customers as they call on the manufacture to address their concerns.
