2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV Steering System Problems

In recent months, customer complaints from those who own or lease the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV have arisen. The majority of these complaints concern persistent steering system failures, ranging from misfiring electrical systems to power steering modes that malfunctioned suddenly and without warning, making it extremely difficult to operate the vehicle while in motion. While the manufacturer has issued five safety recalls affecting this make and model, they have not addressed steering system safety issues directly.

One owner of a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV reported that their steering wheel locking mechanism has come undone while the car is in motion. This has occured on several occasions, yet the dealer has been unable to identify or diagnose this persistent issue. Another driver stated that their steering suddenly became nearly impossible while the car was traveling, making it difficult to remain in control of the vehicle. So far, no safety recall has been issued, leaving Jeep customers without the clear answers they seek.
