In recent months, a slew of customer complaints from those who drive or lease a 2019 Hyundai Veloster N have emerged. Most of these concerns stem from structural safety defects, such as faulty door handles, particularly in regions with colder temperatures. While the manufacturer has issued two separate safety recalls impacting this make and model, the company has not addressed this structural defect directly. As a result, many Hyundai customers remain without workable solutions to these persistent issues.
According to one owner of the 2019 Hyundai Veloster N, the driver’s side door handle stops operating entirely when cold weather arrives. Instead, the driver must enter the vehicle through the passenger side door. Multiple Hyundai customers have complained about this same issue, particularly those residing in areas with lower temperatures. Once inside the vehicle, however, the driver’s side door may be opened from the inside. So far, the manufacturer has yet to respond to these reports of structural defects.
